Speaking & Events

Hi, I’m Alicia.

I’m so excited you’ve found yourself here. I like to think my first experience of public speaking was when I blurted out a suggestion for an improvisation show at 4 years old and they took it!

I’m a writer, producer and media and communications professional. I have worked with brands like Lululemon, City of Richmond, BC Ale Trail, CBC Vancouver, Crazy8s Film Society and more. I am passionate about inspiring curiosity, connecting talent and creating “ah-ha” moments in an audience.

I am a trained professional speaker with a background in film, stage and improvisation. I have spoken and trained on a wide range of topics including visual storytelling, professional networking & branding, free-lance life, social media and mental health as a creative professional. I am a trained Jack.org JackTalks Speaker certified to speak to youth groups aged 13-18 about mental health awareness and solutions. I am very passionate about educating young minds about the relationship between beliefs, creativity and mental wellness.

I’ve pitched in rooms, hosted networking meetups and spoken in front of groups of 10 - 1500 people. I am available for public speaking, events, panels, workshops and interviews.

“I can say that Alicia is an amazing public speaker and an absolute pleasure to work with. She brings professionalism and positive energy to any job! She also has an amazing passion for helping others. During my work with her, she has brought great ideas to the table and she would be an asset to any team.”
